Spinach Basil Pesto Sauce
- 2 cups basil leaves (about a 2.5 ounce package)
- 4 cups baby spinach leaves
- 4 garlic cloves, peeled
- ¾ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup walnuts
- ⅔ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Place all ingredients in a powerful blender (such as the Vitamix), in the order listed and blend until smooth.
- Toss your favorite pasta in the sauce.
