Garlic Ranch Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds red potatoes
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt, plus more, to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon dried dill
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, plus more, to taste
  • ⅓ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
  1. Place potatoes and garlic in a large Dutch oven. Add cold water to the Dutch oven until the potatoes are just covered in water. Heat the potatoes over high heat until the water comes to a boil. Cover the Dutch oven, reduce heat, and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 12 minutes. Drain potatoes and garlic.
  2. Place potatoes, garlic, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon dill, ¼ teaspoon pepper, milk and butter in a strong blender. Blend until smooth. Taste potatoes and season with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
  3. Serve hot.
