Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Ingredients
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 (14 oz) package of cocktail sausages
  • 1 (16 oz) package of sliced bacon, cut into thirds
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Place brown sugar in a small bowl or shallow plate. Wrap a piece of sausage in a piece of bacon. Roll the wrapped sausage in the brown sugar, pressing to coat. Place on prepared baking sheet, seam side down. Repeat with the remaining pieces of sausage.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and the sugar has caramelized.
  4. Serve hot.
