Mushroom Bacon Fettucine

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces of fettuccine
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 slices thick cut bacon, cut into ½” pieces
  • 1 lb shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1¼ cup milk
  • 1 cube vegetable bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon. soy sauce
Instructions
  1. Cook fettuccine according to the instructions on the box and set aside.
  2. Place bacon in the skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it starts to be crispy around the edges, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the mushrooms and continue to sauté until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes. Add flour and stir to combine. Whisk in milk. Add the bouillon cube and break it up so that it dissolves in the sauce. Add soy sauce and stir to combine.
  4. Add fettuccine and mix so that the fettuccine is completely coated in the sauce.
  5. Serve immediately.
