Ginger Ale Float

Most people have had a root beer float.  Some restaurants even have “beer floats”, where they use beer instead of root beer.  I’ve never tried these, and they do not sound good to me.

Still other places will substitute coke for the root beer.  I personally prefer coke floats to root beer floats because I don’t really like root beer.  Yes, I know that I’m weird.

I don’t love ginger ale, but I do enjoy drinking it periodically.  Mainly on airplanes.  That may be because you are usually only provided a small amount of drink on an airplane.  I find it difficult to finish a whole 2 liter bottle of ginger ale, but I do enjoy drinking a cup of ginger ale periodically.

While trying to find a way to use up some extra ginger ale, I decided to try pairing it with ice cream.  I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
